Frequently Asked Questions – Pilates & Yoga Retreats in Italy Where do the retreats take place? The Pilates and Yoga retreats are held in Piedmont, Nort West Italy at **Casale Langhe Serole**, my private home nestled in the hills of the Langhe, a UNESCO Heritage Site. The setting is peaceful, rural, and surrounded by hazelnut orchards, ancient woodland, and open countryside, an ideal environment for rest, movement, and reconnection. What is included in the retreat? The retreat includes accommodation at Casale Langhe Serole, daily Pilates and yoga sessions, guided relaxation or meditation practices, nourishing meals, and time to rest and explore the local area. Each retreat is thoughtfully designed to feel supportive, relaxed, and unhurried. Are the classes suitable for all levels? Yes. Classes are accessible and adaptable for all levels, including beginners and those returning to movement. Options are offered throughout, with an emphasis on moving well, listening to your body, and feeling supported rather than pushed. Is this retreat suitable if I have an injury or physical limitations? Yes. With a strong focus on safe, mindful movement, sessions can be adapted for injuries, ongoing aches, or specific physical needs. I’ll ask about this before the retreat so you can feel confident and cared for throughout your stay. Because the size is capped to only 6 guests, you'll have the opportunity to feel guided safely through your practice. What is a typical day like on retreat? Days usually include a morning Pilates or yoga session, a relaxed bruch, free time to rest, walk, or explore, followed by an afternoon or evening practice. There’s plenty of space for downtime, and lounge by the pool too! What kind of food is served? Meals are wholesome, mostly plant based, seasonal, and thoughtfully prepared, with a focus on fresh, local ingredients. Dietary requirements can usually be accommodated upon previous accord, unless you have severe airborne allergies. How do I get to Casale Langhe Serole? The nearest airports are **Turin, Milan, and Genoa**, with train connections to nearby towns. Detailed travel guidance is provided once you book, and we’re happy to help you plan your journey. Alternatively I can offer transfers at extra cost with a local driver How many people attend each retreat? Retreats are intentionally small, max 6 people, to maintain a calm, personal atmosphere. This allows for individual attention during classes and a sense of connection without feeling crowded. Do I need to bring any equipment? No. All Pilates and yoga equipment is provided. You’ll just need comfortable clothing, walking shoes, swimming costume, and anything personal that helps you feel at ease. Is there free time, or is the schedule full? There is plenty of free time built into each day. You’re encouraged to rest, read, walk in nature, or simply enjoy being in the Italian countryside. E bikes excursions and wine tasting can be also organised in advance. When is the best time of year to attend? Retreats run in carefully chosen seasons when the Langhe is at its most beautiful — often spring and late summer — offering warm days, cooler evenings, and a slower pace of life. How do I book, and what is the cancellation policy? Booking can be done directly through me, by sending me an email, when more details are published. If you have any questions before committing, please get in touch on my enquiry form.
